Our meatballs are made with high quality ground beef, fresh eggs, a blend of Pecorino, Romano, Parmesan cheeses, breadcrumbs with a blend of fresh parsley, basil, salt, pepper, and of course garlic. They are formed by hand and cooked in golden extra virgin olive oil, crispy on the outside while melt in your mouth tender on the inside. Once cooked the meatballs are then placed into the sauce to simmer for hours, allowing the flavors to blend and assimilate into an incredibly delicious taste experience. We also highly recommend serving meatballs on the side to enjoy with a side of sauce, or maybe as a slider to allow the amazing flavor to come through on its own.
The sauce is a blend of San Marzano tomatoes which are less acidic and sweeter than other varieties, onion, fresh basil, parsley, a blend of cheeses and a few secret ingredients.
What would require an all day process is now available to you in minutes. Minna’s meatballs are sold fully cooked with the sauce. The only requirement to experience this mouth watering meal is to be warmed and simmered, and added to your favorite pasta. This makes it the perfect weeknight dinner for a large family, great meal prep for individuals, and even better for hosting an impressive dinner party with very little effort. It will be our secret!
